NEW SERVICE
Ever since the federal election, people have been calling me looking for help with their issues. There are a lot of people who don’t feel they have a voice and are frustrated trying to make their way through bureaucratic roadblocks that create conflict.
For three decades I seem to have had the knack of clearly seeing a solution to issues and have been successful in finding resolutions where others say there are no resolutions. Therefore, The Mouradian Group is pleased to announce its new Independent Ombudsing Service.
Unlike an advocate, lawyer or agent, that solely acts as an extension of the client, an Ombuds type of service acts as an independent neutral voice that gives advice, refers, directs, assists and speaks for individuals, groups, organizations and associations in finding amicable solutions to issues.
From as simple as just having someone to vent with, to as complicated as helping a person maneuver through a complicated government bureaucracy in order to find a resolution, we are there to help.
Fees can be set by the hour, by the day or a flat rate fee per project. For more information or an appointment and a free evaluation of your situation, call 905.682.7380.
BOYS AND GIRLS CLUB OF NIAGARA
Well, I did it! I jumped out of a plane and took another wish off of my list of things to do. On July 17th I got in a plane and flew to 13,000 feet and did my very first tandem jump. It was really exciting; and besides the rush I raised money for a great cause.
If you have something on your list that you want to accomplish, remember, all you have to do is take that first step and the rest follows.
I would like to thank all those who donated to the jump and all those who organized the event. It was first class and I highly recommend it.
CHRISTMAS IN JULY
Many of you know that each year Troy and I host a Christmas in July party that doubles as a fundraiser for our local food bank. Everyone who comes to the party is asked to bring food as a donation. I am pleased to announce that this year we raised a total of 692 pounds of food for Community Care of St. Catharines and Thorold .
I would like to thank everyone who came and donated the food. I know that the food bank really appreciated it and so did the people who access the service.
